  Had one night in the hotel. Was tired, didn't want to make a fuss, however, the room was filthy. Accidentally dropped my phone under the desk, when I picked it up it was covered in all sorts of long hair. Disgusting. Bathroom looked like someone shaved a sheep in there and to top it there was fresh blood on my duvet cover. Don't believe me? Take a look at the picture. Terrible stay.

  I spent a night in the Best Western Aberavon Hotel and despite the November weather I found it fine. The hotel is nicely located across the road from Aberavon Beach. From the outside it looks a little dated however the inside is modern and up to date. Friendly bar staff and good food. Comfortable up to date functional bedroom with a nice bed. Would stay again if working in the area.

  Average experience. Paid for a suite, got a room that has a second bedroom that's been remodeled to have a sofa and TV. Top tier reward member but no recognition on check in. It's the little things... For those unaware though, if you read the welcome letter (that nobody ever does!) you'll find an offer for a free drink at the bar, which is a nice touch. Food was really nice though, and Sam in the bar as always was a pleasure. Good guy. Stayed here before and will come back again, but won't be paying for "upgraded" room.

  The Best Western Aberavon hotel is located on Aberavon beach in Port Talbot near Swansea. The rooms are spacious and if the weather is good get a good amount of sun. The hotel serves a full Welsh breakfast for it's guests. The bar is well stocked.I have stayed here for three weeks and have found the facilities to be best in class. The staff is courteous and helpful. A special thanks for Simon who mans the reception during night time. The hotel may have rethink on the heating cycle. Sometimes, it gets too cold at night.
